The University of Kansas responds to the White House Request for Information

The White House has released the responses to its Request for Information seeking input about how to best provide access to research funded by the federal government. At least six KU faculty sent in responses.
Two responses of note:
- Provost Jeffrey S. Vitter, on behalf of the University of Kansas
- Coalition of Open Access Policy Institutions (COAPI), co-founded at KU, submitted by Ray English (Oberlin) and Ada Emmett (head of the scholarly communication program at the University of Kansas)
