Open Access Policy Waiver

Occasionally, a faculty author may need to opt out of the license granted to University of Kansas via the Faculty Senate’s Open Access Policy for a given article. The policy provides a means to do so. To obtain a waiver, login with your KU ID below. Once logged in you will be invited to submit the brief form notifying the Provost’s Designate, providing the citation for the paper for which you need the waiver. Once submitted, you will immediately receive an email confirmation of the waiver granted.
